A very windy Sunday afternoon worked against the Rainey Valentines last weekend, resulting in a loss to Virginia Womens' 1st XV.
With the teams equally matched, half time saw a score of 12-12. Big physical hits and minor injuries from the restart changed the dynamics of play and despite Rainey's 2 yellow cards the fight was there to the end.
Winger Sheree Rocks rightly earned 'Lady of the Match'.
